We are a vibrant and diverse community that is grounded in the commitment to goodness in all aspects of life and learning. She is encouraged to learn and thrive in new ways, to try new things, and to be resilient. At Westridge, girls gain the confidence and courage to stand up and speak for the ideals of responsibility and integrity as they take their places in an ever-changing world. I believe that we stand “on the shoulders of giants” – as Isaac Newton once remarked- and we certainly build on the cornerstones that our founder Mary Lowther Ranney laid so securely a century ago. From the very beginning, Westridge’s progressive educational foundation, based on intellect, opportunity, independence, and goodness were ahead of their time-and still hold true today. We are justly proud of our academic heritage that stretches back over the decades, firmly based in the Humanities, Math, and Sciences.
